Kumara, Carrot and Broccoli Purée - Stage 2 baby food

The sweetness of the carrot and kumara tone down the broccoli flavour, so this is an ideal dish to start introducing more ‘vegetable’ flavours.
 

Ingredients: 

300g Kumara

1 Carrot

125g Broccoli

Instructions: 

Peel and chop the kumara and carrot and put them into a saucepan. Cover with water and cook for 10 minutes. Add the broccoli and continue to cook for another 7 minutes, until all the vegetables are tender. Using some of the cooking water blend to a purée to the appropriate consistency.
