Lately I have become a weapon of mass consumption!

Are you familiar with the 1 day sales sites? 

Firstly there was the well known www.1-day.co.nz which seemed to have the monopoly on the market for a while as New Zealand's largest daily deals site.  At noon every day, three new deals are made available for a 24 hour period.  Think boxing day sales .. only everyday and available online! 

The three deals are always varied too .. today's deals involved a men's jacket (down $99), a digital camera (down $109) and a table tennis table and ball set (down $335!). 

However over the past few months, a few more of these daily deal sites have entered into the market resulting in some fierce competition, which means for us - bargin bonanza!

For example...my recent purchases include a one hour facial (that includes a neck and shoulder massage) for $20 .. and $80 worth of beauty products at a Spa in Wellington .. for $20!  What a steal. 

Normally I wouldn't indulge in such products for myself but at such a low price it was easily justified!  The fact that I'd been caring for a sick little girl all through the night definitely helped me select that 'Buy Now' option! We Mum's deserve a bit of pampering for ourselves right?

So check the daily deals here.  This website contains a tab for each of the daily sites all within the one location so you don't have to go to the individual websites.  Time saving doing this equals more time to browse the deals!
