Sleep Challenges

Big Beds and Little Girls

So little miss nearly-two-years-old is now in a big bed.  Putting her in a big bed was actually the wild card option in a last ditch attempt to sort out her sleep  before we were going on holiday.  Well something had to be done as I was not interested in getting up to her four or five times a night whilst I was on holiday!

A message to all the working Mummy's!

Wow.  It's been a while huh!  I wish I had some exciting news to tell you like we won Lotto and decided to take ourselves away to the Maldives for a few weeks...but quite the contrary!  It's been the usual life as we know it.

Who wants to be Fitter?

So...we have made some progress on the sleep situation!

We've managed to knock the milk on the head - so she is no longer having a bottle during the night.  She does still wake up however, but the duration seems to be getting shorter and we have had some nights where she has put herself back to sleep.  Hooray!  So I'm feeling alot better on that front.

Sleep Challenges - Take 2

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been quiet the past few weeks, it's not through lack of thought of the blog, quite the opposite - I've been sitting here the past few day's stressing about what to write!  Then stressing even more when the day's since my last blog were slowly mounting!

A Mummy Meltdown is Brewing..

I know I have done to death blogs about sleepless nights .. but I'm realising more and more that this is the reality of life as a Mum.  In my rookie months as a Mum, I honestly thought that the sleepless nights would come to an end once we got through the night feedings.  A few months at best with light at the  end of the tunnel I could handle.  I was not prepared for the ongoing saga of one thing after another and never seeing an uninterrupted night of sleep again!

Post Holiday Debrief!

I thought I would get back and be writing about calamities of epic proportions! Flights that involved a screaming baby for the entire duration, god forbid - missed flights, sleep strikes (her not us, I would NEVER voluntarily stop sleeping!) ... but I am pleased to report that actually, it wasn't too bad!
