We've listened to our New World customers and you've said you loved shopping at New World for years, but found after your first baby things changed and you were more concerned about money and finding a supermarket that understood you and your needs. You said that you’d like information and special offers, so the New World Babies Club was born…
 
For three years we regularly posted out offers, samples and information to over 12,000 members. The backbone of the Babies Club has been regular extra discounts off baby needs and general family basics and information about topics that relate to members and their nutritional and household needs.

However, times change and trees matter so we've moved the club online with many extra benefits. Membership to our club is free and you get regular tailored offers, discount coupons, information designed to match the age of your child, entry to exclusive competitions, an online community to share advice and support, a nutritionist to answer your questions, plus recipes, fun activities, exclusive Fly Buys offers and much more. 

To help give you up to date information and ideas, we are proud to partner with Parents Centre and our New World Nutritionist. New World is proud to donate a gift voucher to all new antenatal groups formed from Parents Centre Childbirth Education Classes throughout New Zealand for their first get-together - it’s nice to know that you can get some tasty nibbles from New World to help the conversation flow.
 
We've listened to our customers and made some changes to the baby aisle in our lower North Island New World stores. Many of our stores have changed the baby aisle so that you can shop by age group. They have put the nappies, formula and food into three age groups…0-6 months, 6-12 months and 1-2+ years. All your favourite products that you use for your baby, toddler and pre-schooler like wipes, bath products, creams and lotions are in the baby and toddler care section.
 

Your local store now has child friendly trolleys too. There are special ones that hold a baby capsule, as well as ones that sit two children side by side. Some stores also have designated mother and baby car parking spaces to make life easier.

New World gIft cards are the perfect gift for friends and relatives, allowing them to choose exactly what products they want at their local New World. For example, if you're making up a hamper of newborn baby items, slip in a gift card so the parents can treat themselves...if your cousin has just had a baby you can easily put a gift card in the post to congratulate them...if grandparents are looking after your children for a night while you have some 'grown up time' a gift card is a thoughtful thank you.  New World gift cards are available to purchase at all New Worlds at the gift station at the Service Desk.

 When you go grocery shopping remember to take your reusable bags out of the boot of the car and do your bit to reduce the number of plastic bags used. New World has a great range of reusable bags on sale, including ones to help keep your chilled items cold - very useful on hot days! Reusable bags are also really useful for putting swimming togs in, taking books to the library, storing toys in and keeping emergency nappy changing gear and spare clothes in!
